Three Filipinos from the entertainment industry were nominated in the 6th Asian Film Awards (AFA) which will be held on 19 March 2012 at the Grand Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre:

Chris Martinez (The Woman in the Septic Tank) for Best Screenwriter

Sharmaine Buencamino (Niño) for Best Supporting Actress

Eugene Domingo (The Woman in the Septic Tank) for Best Actress

The 6th AFA will be having People’s Choice Awards that will be given to the nominees for the best actor/actress who will garner the highest number of votes via online.

We can show our support to Eugene Domingo by voting here until 12 noon of 5 March 2012. If she won the award, 5 lucky voters will have the chance to win a Hong Kong travel package for two persons, including two roundtrip economy class air tickets, two nights hotel accommodation stay in Hong Kong from 18-20 March 2012, and two admission tickets to the Asian Film Awards Presentation Ceremony.
